Michael Marienfeld of New Kensington, PA passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at UPMC St. Margaret.
Michael was born on May 26, 1954, to Georgene Marienfeld Balint and John S. Marienfeld, and lived in the area most of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Ryan Marienfeld; a brother, John C. Marienfeld; and grandmother, Madeline Waters.
Michael is survived by his daughters, Kelly Marie Marienfeld and Katie Rose Downey, both of Vandergrift, PA; three grandchildren, Levi, Lydia, and Leda; a brother, Kevin J. Marienfeld of Ocoee, FL.; his aunt, Madeline Pracko of Ocoee, FL, and numerous cousins.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by R.J. Slater IV Funeral Home and Cremation Services in New Kensington, PA. There will be no public viewing. Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Cemetery, Lower Burrell, PA. The family would like to thank the medical staff at UPMC St. Margaret, Aspinwall, PA.
