Monica B Speck

Monica Speck, 75, of Gibsonia, PA, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2026. Born on April 8, 1951, in New Kensington, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth Halwa.

Monica was the loving mother of Jason (Lisa Potts) Speck and Heather (Aaron) Migliorisi; cherished grandmother of Joshua Migliorisi; and dear friend of Ray Elter. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Henry Sappe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Mary Sappe.

Monica found joy in life's simple pleasures. She enjoyed spending time browsing garage sales, watching her favorite television show, I Love Lucy, and sharing special moments with her beloved dog, Daisy.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Blessing Service at 12:00 p.m. at RJ Slater IV Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1000 Freeport Road, New Kensington, PA 15068, 724-335-0100.

Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Lower Burrell.
