Nicholas “Nick” Kouchak Jr., 78, of Monroeville, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
He was the beloved husband of Kathleen (Brooks) Kouchak, with whom he shared 43 years of cherished companionship. Nick was a devoted father to Lisa (Eric) Martsolf and Brenna (Phillip) Sewell. His legacy lives on through his grandchildren: Chase and Mason Martsolf, Darien and Quinnton Kouchak, Devin Martin, and Gloria Sewell. He was also a caring brother to the late Nancy Noroski.
Nick served with pride in the United States Army during the Vietnam era, earning the rank of Captain before his honorable discharge. His passion for life manifested in a variety of ways – from tackling building projects to expressing himself through artistry in painting. Nick found great joy in sharing his knowledge and skills, earning a reputation as a true master of all trades.
Services to honor and celebrate Nick's life will be private, with arrangements entrusted to Rj Slater IV Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Kensington, PA (724-335-0100).
