Nicholas "Nick" G. Rodites Sr., 67, of Camp Hill and New Kensington, Pa, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021.
On July 3, 1953, Nick was born in New Kensington to the late George and Angeline (Bouramas) Rodites. Beloved husband of Marcella "Marcy" (Moran) Rodites, loving father of Katherine, Nicholas Jr., and Kristine, and grandfather of Zoe Drayton. Dear brother of Katherine (Katina) Dorovenis and the late Anestos Rodites.
Nick retired from SCI Camp Hill as a Lieutenant. He was a "Guest Teacher" with the Capital Area Intermediate Unit (CAII) and a member of PIAA (Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association), where he was a referee of football, soccer, and basketball.
For over ten years, Nick and his wife owned and operated Ice Cream Heaven in New Kensington, Pa. He was a member of the Greek Orthodox faith in New Kensington and Camp Hill. Nick was an avid sports fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, and Pitt athletic teams.
