Patricia Chuba

Patricia A. Chuba, 83, of Arnold, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 25, 2025.

She was born in New Kensington on July 19, 1942, to the late Michael Knosky Sr. and Julia Molnar. Patty was a 1960 graduate of Arnold High School.

Patty was the beloved wife of Harland "Harley" Chuba, with whom she shared 63 loving years of marriage. She was a devoted mother to Joe Chuba and his wife Christy, and Kellie Sposato and her husband Richard. She was a doting grandmother to Sarah Chuba, Ryan Hardaway, Haley Sposato, and Kyle Sposato. She was also the sister of the late Michael Knosky Jr.

Throughout her working years, Patty was employed as a bookkeeper for Don Miller Shoes in New Kensington, an accounts receivable clerk for Klingensmith Hardware in New Kensington, and later completed her career as a receptionist for Altmeyer Home Stores in Delmont.

Patty was an avid reader and found great joy in gardening. She enjoyed relaxing at home watching Blue Bloods, Family Feud, and cheering on her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. She loved traveling to visit her daughter and son in law wherever his Air Force assignments took them. Above all, Patty cherished time spent with family and friends. She will be deeply missed, along with her faithful and beloved companion, her beagle Bayley.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, December 30, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at RJ Slater IV Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1000 Freeport Road, New Kensington.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 31, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary of Czestochowa, located at 857 Kenneth Avenue, New Kensington, Pennsylvania 15068. Please meet at the church. Private burial will follow at Union Cemetery.
