Paul James McCusker

Paul James McCusker, 88, of New Brighton passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at his son's home in Atlanta, Georgia.

Born March 6, 1938, Paul was the son of the late Thomas and Margaret (Goedeker) McCusker. Paul was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Paul loved golfing, bowling, playing cards and most especially spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren at the beach. He was the husband of the late Barbara (Trax) McCusker.

He is survived by his sister Carolyn (Jack) Wolfe, brother David (Jan) McCusker, his children Patrick (Rachel) McCusker, Dan (Tracy) McCusker, and Stephanie (Robert) Brunn, 11 grandchildren Lauren (Aaron) Schlothauer, Kelsey McCusker, Michelle (Joe) Carr, Kyle Reitz, Abby, Samuel, Matthew, William, and Mitchell McCusker, Vaunden and Carsen Brunn, 7 great-grandchildren Benjamin and Isaac Schlothauer, Lydia, Jonathan, Isaiah and Silas Carr, and Heymi McCusker.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his spouse Barbara McCusker, a sister Marie Loncher, and a brother Thomas McCusker.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 12:00 until the time of a Blessing Service @ 2pm at RJ Slater IV Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1000 Freeport Road, New Kensington, PA 15068.

In lieu of Flowers contributions may be made in Paul's name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
