Regis A Schneider Sr

Regis A. Schneider, Sr., 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 11, 2026 with his family by his side.

He was born on September 5, 1942 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Dorothy Elizabeth (Sprague) Schneider and Adolph Joseph Schneider.

Regis graduated from Springdale High School and retired as a machinist at Curtiss Wright in Cheswick, PA. He also was previously an active member of the Harmar Township Fire Department and served as the Fire Chief for many years.

Regis is survived by his loving wife, Susan (Lisowski) Schneider. He was the loving father of daughters, Teresa (Robert) Bertovich and Brenda (the late Brian) Owens along with sons Regis (Stacie) Schneider, Jr., and Ryan (Nicole) Schneider. He was also the loving father to his stepson Shawn(Carla) Cochran and stepdaughter Melissa (Jason) Heider.

Regis's favorite role was that of a grandfather. Surviving grandchildren include Ashley, Victoria, Jonathan, Riley, Vanessa, Aubrey, Bailey, Jasie, Ryan, and Abby.

He is also survived by his brother Robert Schneider and sister Joanne Federoff along with numerous Sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Regis had a special place in his heart for his precious puppies Snickers, Cinny, Holly, and Allie.

He will be sadly missed by his family, friends, and everyone who crossed his path.
