Robert Block

Robert Block, 69, of Pittsburgh, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022. He was born on May 2, 1952, to the late Bernard and Mary (Angotti) Block. Robert leaves behind his daughter, Jenna "Jennabug" (Ray Zielinski) Maguire, his son James "Jimmy" (Cinda Armel) Block, and his love of 22 years, Mary A. Loera. Robert, also known as Grandpa Bobby, he leaves behind his beloved grandchildren Ava, Caleb, and Maddox; he was the light of their life. Robert was preceded in death by his brother Ronald Block.

Robert was a member of St. Bernadette Church and an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, notably baseball, basketball, and hockey. He loved rock music, dancing all night long with Mary, golfing with friends, and swimming. But above all, there is nothing that Robert cherished more than spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and Ray's daughter Martha, who called him "meow meow."

Bob will forever be missed by the Toia , Fleming, Loera, Pagano, and Rocco families, especially Enza and her children Joe, Nicky, and Frankie (who loved playtime with Bob).

To all that knew him, Robert will be remembered fondly as a lovable and caring person who adored his grandchildren.
