Rosalie Barckhoff

Rosalie Barckhoff, 84, of New Kensington, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert G. Barckhoff and a loving mother to Renee (Matt) Smerbeck, Bonnie Behanna, Sam Behanna, and the late Robert G. Barckhoff Jr. & Alan Behanna. Rosalie was also a cherished sister of Sylvia Perusse and was predeceased by her siblings Rudy Dudics and Geraldine Savinda. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Kierstin, Brandon, Jaison, Randy, Deion, Amanda, Kayla, and eight great-grandchildren.

Rosalie was a member of the Logans Ferry Heights Ladies Auxiliary group. Her passion for gardening brought beauty to her surroundings, and she had a special fondness for playing the slots. However, her heart was most captivated by her family, her love of animals, especially her dear cat, Snickers.

A Mass in her memory will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, September 26th, at St. Mary of Czestochowa. Please join us at the church to honor her life. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery in Lower Burrell.
