Roy Beck

Roy "Bing" William Beck, 79, of Sarver, passed away peacefully on the 4th of October 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on October 26, 1945,

Roy was a devoted husband of 55 years, father, and grandfather. He served in the Marine Corp as an MP, retired from Allegheny Ludlum/Teledyne, was a 50-year member of the Bethel Masonic Lodge, and a member of the Shriner's. Roy loved history, flying, riding motorcycles, hunting, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family.

He is survived by his mother, Eileen [Burke] Beck, wife, Diana [Putner] Beck, brother, Gregory Beck, sister-in-law, Barbara Beck, his children, Brian Beck, Krystal [Beck] Bentz, his son-in-law, Jeffrey Bentz, and his beloved grandchildren, Abigail Bentz, Tyler Bentz, and Logan Beck. He is preceded in death by his late father, LeRoy Robert Beck, and his daughter-in-law, Rebecca [McCurdy] Beck.

A public viewing will be held Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 1-3 PM and 6-8 PM at RJ Slater IV Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1000 Freeport Rd, New Kensington, PA. (724-335-0100) A Masonic Service will be held Thursday at 6:30 pm

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 10, 2025, at 1:00 PM in Greenwood Memorial Park, New Kensington, PA. with Jonathan Hill Officiating.
