Samuel L. “Doozer” Burford, 40, of Brackenridge, Pa, passed away on December 2, 2021. He was born on June 5, 1981, in Natrona Heights, Pa, to Samuel L. Sr. and the late Valerie (Reckhart) Burford.
Father of Miranda Burford, brother of Hope Lynn Snyder, SammieJo Rieger, Sara Calhoun, Samantha Smith, and Jessica Ives; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Sam worked alongside his father at the family shop, Sams and Sons. He will forever be known as the “Great One” for his ability to fix what no one else could.
Family and friends are welcome on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 6-8 pm, at RJ Slater IV Funeral Home & Cremation Service 1000 Freeport Road, New Kensington, Pa 724-335-0100.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Sam’s name to The American Diabetes Association, 112 Washington Pl #1520, Pittsburgh, PA 15219
