Taylore Breann Nacey, 29, of Penn Hills, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026. Born in Pittsburgh on October 11, 1996, she was the beloved daughter of the late Brian and Carin Nacey.
She is survived by her loving sister, Brittni (Jeremiah Borowski); her cherished nieces and nephews, Declan, Killian, and Octavia Borowski; her grandparents, Albert and Margaretta Ruth Stump Covey; and her devoted partner, Jarod Baughman Stubbs, along with their beloved pets, Nyah, Richard, and Fat Kitty.
Taylore had a deep love for literature, especially the works of Shakespeare. She was passionate about storytelling in all forms and found joy and meaning in everything from Marvel Comics, Star Wars, and Lord of the Rings to Dungeons & Dragons and music of every genre, especially Taylor Swift. Her creativity, intelligence, and imagination allowed her to connect deeply with the stories and people she loved.
She will always be remembered for her contagious laugh, adventurous spirit, and unapologetically authentic personality. Taylore had a way of lifting the spirits of everyone around her, even during life's darkest moments. She lived as an example that hope and joy are not simply feelings, but choices we make every day.
Her sister will forever treasure the memories they shared together: late night video game marathons playing Wii, PlayStation, and Sly Cooper during summer breaks; singing and laughing during long drives with their mother; spending countless hours at the library picking out DVDs to binge watch for the weekend; and weekly trips to the theater with their father. One especially cherished memory was staying up late together in hopes of catching "Bob the Barbarian" when it would air in the middle of the night. Above all, her family cherished watching Taylore blossom into the person she was always meant to be.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, May 17, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. in the RJ Slater IV Funeral Home & Cremation Service, New Kensington, Pa, 724-335-0100. www.rjslater.com
