Thomas Nee

Thomas M. Nee, of Lower Burrell, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family, Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018. Tom was born Feb. 2, 1951, son of the late Thomas E. and Geraldine K. (Lawson) Nee. Tom was a graduate of Arnold High and West Virginia University. He worked for Allegheny Ludlum/Technology for 42 years as a systems analyst until his retirement in 2016. He was a member of Grace Community Presbyterian Church, Lower Burrell. Survivors include his beloved wife of 42 years, Katy (Corley); son, Nigel (Lili), of Gainesville, Va.; daughter, Mekenzee, of Pittsburgh; sister, Patty (Jim) Yeschenko, of Harmarville; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Sonny (Cathy) Corley, of Elkview, W.Va., Craig (Hilda) Corley, of Gloucester, Va.,, Mike Corley, of Lewisburg, W.Va, Mary Jo (Papa) Jones, of Dunbar, W.Va., Nancy (Jim) Coleman, of Lewisburg, W.Va., and Bev Young, of Gallipolis, Ohio; aunt, Dorothy Nee, of Arnold, PA; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and his cherished dachshund, Henri. Besides his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his parents-in-law, Browne and Mary Evelyn Corley and Avanelle Young Corley; sister-in-law, Linda (Knupp) Corley; and brother-in-law, Lin Young. Tom was quick to help others and could fix most anything. Tom was a loving and devoted husband, father, brother, son, neighbor and friend. Tom and his family thank everyone who sent prayers, cards and support this past year. Tom always prayed for those who were praying for him. The family wishes a special thank you to Family Hospice for their kindness and care. God's peace to a wonderful man.
