Thomas "Tommy" Slosky II passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, in Oakland, while surrounded by his loved ones. Tommy was born March 19, 1962, in Brownsville.
Tommy was a graduate of Valley High School in 1980. Tommy served in the United States Army for eight years on active duty and two years on reserves as a tanker. He was a combat veteran of Operation Desert Storm. Tommy was also employed by Worldwide Refractories, Inc.
Tommy was known for his quick wit, love for music and frequent naps. Tommy was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and fisherman. He enjoyed frequent fishing trips to Erie with his brother, father, family and friends.
He is survived by his fiancee, Heidi Corwin; his son, Thomas Slosky III (Rachel); his daughter, Angela Syput (Ben); his sister, Lori Lewandowski (Jan); his brother, Christopher (Kelli); former wife, Diane Giampaolo; and his grandsons, Cash Syput, Cyril Slosky, Leo Syput and Enzo Syput. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Slosky Sr. and Francis (O'Brokta); and granddaughter Gabriella Syput.
