Thomas Stephen Weis Jr returned to his Lord on June 6, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on July 23, 1955, in Pittsburgh, PA, Tom was the youngest child of Thomas and Rita Weis. He graduated from Baldwin High School in 1973, where he excelled at wrestling and cross country.
Tom was predeceased by his parents and nephew, Matthew Weis. Tom leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion through his cherished daughters, Jessica Weis (companion, Brad King) of Sarasota, Florida and Jillina Weis (fiancé, Ryan Detrie) of Pittsburgh and through his intensively supportive partner, Jana Latura. Tom treasured every moment spent with his grandchildren, Karalina and Tristan.
Tom is survived by his siblings, Tim Weis (wife, Trish) of Jackson, Tennessee and Cathy Reardon (husband, Bill) of Chester Springs, and by nephews and nieces, Jeff Weis, Laura Feller, Will Reardon and Sara Adams.
Tom's spirit was marked by an unwavering positivity, kindness, and generosity. He was always ready to lend a helping hand, embodying a rare humility and selflessness. His warmth and compassion made the world a better place, and his legacy will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him. Tom will be sorely missed, but his love and light will forever remain in our hearts.
A private celebration of life will be held at the family’s request.
