William J. Grills, 65, originally from Trafford, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday July 23, 2023. He was born February 27, 1958 to the late William and Helen (Petrina) Grills.
He graduated from Penn Trafford High School in 1976, after he attended Point Park University and received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and graduated at the top of his class from the FBI Academy in 1991. After 27 years and multiple assignments across the United States, he retired as a Special Agent in January 2014. With his tenacious attitude and infinite work ethic, he excelled at everything he did, from racing dirt bikes to locking up bad guys.
He is survived by his former wife (best friend) Annie Grills and their two children, MacKenzie and Seth (Bonny) Grills and his two grandchildren Quincy and Mila, brother Thomas (Amy) Grills, and sisters, Karen (Frederick) Pineda, Janet (Art) Houck, and Donna (Dave) Rockage, numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and friends all over the United States. He was predeceased by his mother, father, and brother Timothy Grills.
