William Glenn Swanson

Willian G. Swanson, age 69, of Vandergrift, PA passed away peacefully on Monday, September 28th, 2026 after battling some serious medical issues. He was the son of the late Sonny Stubblefield and Jenny Swanson.

William was born and raised in Reklaw, Texas and did spend some time overseasas in Germany as his father was in the military. Although he resided in Pennslvania for the past 30+ years he was still an avid lover of The Texas Longhorns (Hook'em Horns) and the Dallas Cowboys.

He was a member of New Life Baptist Church of Apollo PA, although before his passing was attending Greater Parkview Churh with his wife in Greensburg PA. He worked for MSI Corporation in Vandergrift PA for almost 30 years where he retired in 2022 due to health issues. Bill enjoyed playing Golf and spending time with his friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Angel. He is also survived by his siblings: Tommy(Tiny) Stubblefield, Ronald(Jamie) Stubblefield, Donald(Theresa) Stubblefield, and Pamela Davis and Araine Davis; his son Joshua(Sammy) Swanson; grandchild: Kylen Swanson; God daughter Aujuane McCreary and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends..

Along with his parents, William was preceded in death by his younger brother, Larry.

He will be deeply missed.
