Our Story

Our Story

"When you choose a funeral home, you aren’t just selecting a building or a service package—you’re choosing the people who will guide your family through one of life’s most difficult moments. I believe that personal connection matters, which is why I want to share a bit about who we are and why we take this responsibility so seriously.

For me, death care isn't just a profession; it is a calling that runs deep in my family's bloodline. My family has been dedicated to serving grieving communities for generations, and I carry that long legacy with an immense amount of pride, humility, and responsibility. Growing up watching my family care for others taught me that this work requires more than just professional expertise—it demands genuine empathy, respect, and an open heart. When we opened the doors to our family-owned funeral home right here on Freeport Road in 2017, it was with the sole mission of carrying that deep commitment forward, providing dignified, compassionate, and truly affordable care to our neighbors.

Serving New Kensington and the surrounding Alle-Kiski Valley communities—from Lower Burrell and Arnold to Plum and Harrison Township—is a privilege we don't take lightly. We live here, we work here, and we are deeply rooted in the fabric of this local area."

Our Family, Serving Yours

"Behind the responsibilities of the funeral home, I am a family man through and through. The true anchor of my life is my intelligent, kind and beautiful wife, Molly. We have been blessed to share 14 wonderful years of marriage together, navigating life's ups and downs side-by-side. Together, we are raising our tweenage sons—who keep us on our toes, fill our home with energy, and constantly remind us of what matters most in this life.

When I’m not at the funeral home assisting families, I look for quiet moments to recharge and reconnect with the outdoors. I’ve always been an avid outdoorsman, and nothing clears the mind quite like a crisp morning spent hunting or a quiet afternoon with a line in the water fishing. It’s in those peaceful moments in nature that I find the balance and strength required to show up fully for the families who walk through our doors.

Every detail of our history and our personal lives shapes how we serve you. Because we know firsthand how precious family is, we treat yours with the exact same care, dignity, and respect we would want for our own.

Thank you for trusting us with your stories, your memories, and your loved ones."
